Lets say your group policy is not passed down from e hierarchical structure like AD and you have to manage each servers settings either via some scripting process or via manualy adding the settings to the local group policy yourself. Slow PNAgent Response (icons)
User Report: PNAgent is running very slowly. Upon a successful logon, the PNAgent indicates “Refreshing Applications” prompt for an excessive amount of time. While the Refreshing Applications prompt is visible, application icons look less than desirable and not until the refresh is complete do you get to see the more refined or detailed icons.
Server Specifications:
- XenApp Version 5.0
- Windows Server 2008 (x64)
Since the report is somewhat vague, lets first think about configuring userenv debug logging for several users in an effort to determine what may be going on with this specific scenario.
