Hey RIM! Yeah you that horribly dwindling Canadian company with a depreciating corporate (and consumer) presence. The entire technical community is compelled to ask the following questions. Did somebody turn out the lights on your entire corporation? Or were you just assuming the market would not move and your efforts would continuously provide quarter over quarter profitability? Seriously – did you literally overnight lose sight of your core constituents, and their needs? If anything, take heed to the penalties of your stock holders and get your head out of your own corporate a$$. Look, you have completely lost every person at this website and there is not much you can do to get us back, even if you pay us. And to be completely honest, this entire post is a struggle to write.
Look – it’s time to throw in the flag or at least consider a buyout. Number one, the market is completely broken for corporate consumers. RIM’s ability to deliver decent apps or provide an attractive API to embrace the development community is GONE! Offering a free tablet is cool, but not worth any of the commitments for development.
