[update from previous post] So this site is indeed not that cool. Apparently there is no ‘spider’ involved here – just a very slick person utilizing Google Pulse and appears to be ’very’ dialed-in with the technology!  The following is quite comical now that I had the chance to read it again.  I was excited (about the concept of using a spider) simply because it makes complete sense for businesses to use php and a small database in an effort to quantify and digest streams of data.

[Previous post]  Wow! Not only is this completely crazy but man this is unreal. Does Hostname: Teradici.com has a spider which recursively search google search results for keywords PCoIP, and Teradici? Completely amazing and many props if this is true, if not its just several sourced employees searching for keywords like lost packets and such and randomly landed on this site. Oh well… Say it is a spider which is so much cooler!!! This is the first I have ever seen where a spider/reconnaissance engine actually analyzes data and puts it to good use outside of your classic Google (1st place), MSN (2nd place) and Bing (3rd place).

The most impressive part of this whole story is that you have cached our page and literally looked at it several times over the past 12 hours and then did some type of recursive ‘linked in’ search at the same time!!! Big props! Oh and by the way – you get a big ‘yellow’ every time your engines (or people)  visit our site just so we can appreciate the visit. And honestly – it is indeed an appreciation because we adore your products (the physical ones, not the virtual ones).  Cheers to our Canadian friends. And we look forward to next release! 4 monitors over 1 IP? Wow, now that would be so much better instead of 5+ IP’s.

When traveling to Charlotte, I like to try different restaurants and Just recently a place by the name Vapino opened @ 201 S. Tyron Street in the downtown area.  Pizza, pasta, salads – they have an array of different foods to choose from.  Vapino is a neat addition to charlotte’s downtown area and judging how busy it is makes me optimistic it will be there for quite some time.

Dislikes:
** The price of a fountain drink is ridiculous –> $2.50
** The place is swamped between 12 and 1PM, its very difficult to find a table
** The overall price is a little high – $12.50 for a salad and drink.
** How do you tip people here? Are you supposd to tip?

Likes:
** They cook the meat right in front of you, unlike several of the other restaurants offering comparable meals
** The overall appeal and design of the place is fun
** The seating is comfortable
** The olive oil for bread is decent.
** They use their own herbs which you can see growing in the restaurant.

I’m not sure I completely understand how or why people seem to enjoy Kombucha.  Specifically the Synergy line of drinks by GT’s. I guess by visiting their website – a bunch of hippy or bohemian type people flock to this stuff.  And it doesn’t seem to be only people who shop at whole foods or fresh market.  I’m completely interested in probiotics as they seem to have some positive impact on your digestive system.

The taste? Not good! Well, I’m not honestly sure… This first drink (GT’s Kombucha – Trilogy) tasted like vinegar mixed with flowers and salt. You have got to be crazy if you decide to mix this puppy with vodka or slam it after a long run.  you seriously need to work hard to acquire a taste for  Kombucha (maybe it tastes good mixed with vodka).

The inpact on my body? . In fact after drinking my first bottle of Kombucha (Trilogy) – my stomach completely sent me right to the bathroom and punished me for several rounds that day. No need to get into the specifics but the impact was the same as eating 6 lbs of cheese and wondering why you feel horrible days later.
What is in this? Okay – so probiotics are supposed to assist in the regulation of your digestive system, I get that.  and for what it’s worth this bottle has 1 billion organisms of Lactobacillus Bacterium and 1 billion organisms of S Boulardii. two billion organisms in one 16oz bottle sounds like a lott and probably explains my unexpected visits to the bathroom. Apparently the organisms were flipping mad.

Antioxidants too? Heck yeah why not EGCG , Glucouronic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Acetic acid has to be awesome for you right? I mean this drink is completely alive and ready to kick some serious butt in your body.  Antioxidents fight off free radicals right? So do blueberries and Acai berries which I’m more inclined to eat rather than drink this stuff.

Nevertheless I’m going to give it a shot – 1 bottle a day for the next week. Total cost = 23 dollars which sounds ridiculous. My body will be the judge of that!
